Day 1: Arrival Addis Ababa 

  • On arrival from international flight our representative will be waiting     in Addis Ababa Airport for the transfer to hotel Depending on arrival time sightseeing of the capital Addis
  • Overnight Hotel

DAY 2: Addis-Gondar

  •  Fly or drive to the 17th century castles, which were constructed in 1632 with in the reign of Fasilades,also view the church of Debre Brhane Selassie church and Qusquam and also the Felsha village. 
  • Overnight hotel

DAY 3: Gondar-Sankber

  • Drive to Snakaber the head quarters of The Semien Mountain National Park, a UNESCOs World Heritages site since the late 1960s, in order to select the game scout and to arrange horses. Proceed to Sankaber camp sight situated amongst the most dramatic scenery in Africa.
  • Overnight Camping

DAY 4: Trek Getch

  • Walk to Jimbar falls, start trekking to Geech camp, which is   situated, some 5 hours trek away. Taking you to cultivated areas and into the Semien escarpment is a spectacular habitat for wildlife. Here you may see a group of endemic Gelado Baboon (the bleeding heart baboon), and others such as the Walya, Ibex and Semien Wolf, (the rarest wolf in the world). You will see also different bird species such as Bearded Vultures, Tawny Eagles, Augur Buzzards and endemic species such as, thick billed Ravens, Black headed Siskinos and Abyssinian catbirds are common throughout this area.
  • Over night camping.

DAY 5:  Trek Chenek

  • Trek to Chenek descending to the village of Amba Ras before zigzagging uphill towards Argin village and Chenek camp. Chenek is undoubtedly the most spectacular point in the Simien Mountain with the stunning views in all direction It is also an excellent place to spot wildlife including the hayrack and perhaps the elusive Simien Fox.
  • Overnight camping

DAY 6: Trek Ambikawa

  • Early morning trek to Ambikwa enjoying the view of the vast valley of the Mesheha.
  • Overnight camping.

DAY 7: Trek Ras Dashen

  • Early in the morning trek to Ras Dashen (4620m) and return to Ambikwa.
  • Overnight camping.

DAY 8: Trek Chenek

  • Trek back to Chenek en-route climb up a valley to Ras Bawit (4430m), a wonderful viewpoint where you can look out across the vast valley of the Mesheha River. From this viewpoint you can also see Ras Dashen (4620m).
  • Overnight camping

DAY 9: Trek back to Sankber

  • Trek back to Sankaber where you would be met by the car that will take you back to Gondar.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10: Fly or drive back to Addis

  • Drive to Gondar Air port or drive to Addis
  • Evening traditional dinner with interesting traditional music & dances.
  • Transfer to Airport

*Reservations need to be done two months prior to your arrival.
